Lisa Zochert, BS, MS, IAC

Lisa began her journey into studying complementary and alternative medical techniques over 20 years ago. Her formal studies have included Reiki, Aromatherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Mindfulness  and Meditation Training. However, she has also completed extensive self-study and training in the areas of yoga, meditation, crystals, Ayurveda, Indigenous American Culture and medicine, angelic guidance, shamanism, as well as other areas of interest.

Lisa's path into Reiki began years ago in an effort to help address some of her father's health needs. Unfortunately, he passed over before she was able to share the benefits of this amazing therapy with him. She continued her practice on friends and family on an informal level until the Universe intervened; calling her to expand the way she shares this powerful, healing gift with others.

Lisa was working full time as a Special Education Teacher and attending acupuncture school when she developed significant kidney issues and was also diagnosed with breast cancer. It was during this time that she focused her practices on her own healing and began to share them more with friends. More and more people commented on her positive attitude and encouraged her to share her passion for helping others help heal themselves.

Lisa acknowledges that place that Western Medicine holds for helping to treat many forms of dis-ease, however, she also recognizes that many people desire to take more control of achieving complete health with complementary medical therapies. Her own life experience has showed her that this is not only possible, but powerful and effective for continued health.

Her life goals include teaching others the direct connection between mind/body wellness and utilizing the amazing therapies developed and practiced by the ancients before us.

"There is a reason why many of these therapies have existed for thousands of years- it's because they work!"

Lisa utilizes Aromatherapy, Reiki, Mindfulness/ Meditation, and Acupressure as some of her tools for helping others to achieve wellness. She also makes and sells personal care products with Essential Oils to support healthful living.

Her article, "Essential Oil Therapy for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD)" was published in the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy  Journal in Autumn 2017.
